Worth doing!
Why drive anything else? Yes, every bump in the road feels like you’ve just run over a woolly mammoth, but even the worst day fades away when the top is down and the tunes are cranked. They’re a little (ok, a lot) bad on gas mileage. But they’re versatile for all climates, especially with a soft top. My TJ in Florida has it’s top down during the beautiful subtropical winter, and the cold a/c is great during the summer monsoon season. And when I’m back in upstate New York during the winter, I turn on the heat (and it gets nice and toasty quickly) and walk around to all the plastic windows, smack them with my hand and all the ice just falls right off! A four-wheel-drive convertible! What vehicle could be better? I’m on my third one.
