be more open with people instead of hiding myself

I think it was an essential part of my emotional and spiritual development to find someone I can confide in, and just as important, be someone that person can confide in. I’m not talking about just any old type of confiding. I’m talking about one-on-one, something-I-thought-I’d-never-tell-a-soul confiding. But it’s more than just one something, it’s everything about me. He is quite honestly the only person who knows the real me, understands me, and at the same time allows himself to be revealed to me, the only person that knows him. It truly is a great feeling, and it is only enhanced by the fact that we both love each other. :)

This goal is ultimately an on-going process. I doubt I will ever truly open myself up completely to people. It is simply not in my nature; but I would love to live a life where I don’t feel obligated to hide who I am.
