Read the illuminatus! trilogy (in english)

This book is my all time favorite!!! This book will mess with your mind, but in a good way. If you liked this book try reading anything else by Robert Anton Wilson. His book Schrodingers Cat Trilogy is kind of like the sequil to the book with a quantum physics twist. it’s great too.

It changed my life.
I read the Da Vinci Code earlier this year; yawn.
Basically if you’re into all this Holy Blood Holy Grail stuff (or indeed wiggyness & conspiracy of any sort) then spare yourself the tedium and proceed directly to the mother lode; Illuminatus!
I laughed out loud on several occasions.
The town of Kirkcaldy, 13 miles along the road from here, is twinned with Ingolstadt Bavaria.
Spooky.

It will mess with you in ways that you can’t imagine, but it is so worth the read. The perfect blend of fiction, fantasy, and reality.

If you love a well structured meaningful novel, expertly crafted to leave a warm feeling in the bottom of your stomach, reminding you that everything is ok and leaving you renewed and fullfilled ready to face another day at the office then you’ve come to the wrong place. Lie down on the floor and keep calm. Utterly beguiling nonsense from start to finish, pirates, talking dolphins, sex, drugs and sex and drugs and rock and roll and drugs, conspiracies, ufos, a sprinkling of number theory and bank robbers. Love it or hate it you have to love it. Or maybe hate it. A book that finally shows you everything is black and white, just as long as black is blue and white is black. Read this book before you die, if you get lost don’t worry just keep on reading you can always read it again or try reading it backwards.

this book sucked.

really a fantastic read…often mind boggling, and usually always hilarious. i’m really glad i didn’t stop reading this book.

this happened the last time i read a book by RAW…synchronicities start popping up in my life left and right…i can’t count the number of times i’ve seen the number “23” outside of the book :)

i’m on to Leviathan currently…i had my doubts before, but i’m really starting to love this book…and any book that can get me shrieking with laughter gets 2 thumbs up any time, any place

this book is taking me FOREVER to get through…it’s very complicated and at parts…just kind of formulaic…it vascillates between hilarious, thought inspiring and enh…

i’m not sure i’m going to read the trilogy all at once, especially now that i have 2 more tom robbins books waiting for me

don’t give up when things seem like they don’t make sense!

i’m only on page 50 of the eye in the pyramid and i’m already hooked…i spent the greater part of my evening reading this outloud to my boyfriend…we laughed so hard at some passages we hurt
