act in professional-quality theater/films

Recently I got accepted into another acting school and I was planning on going but eventually turned it down and decided to go to Moorpark Community College.

I don’t really know how to feel about this anymore and its actually getting to a point where its starting to scare me.

Its soon going to be a year since I’ve been in an acting class and after getting past the point of going out of my mind, I’m starting to feel a lot less passionate. I remember acting was all I talked about my whole life and although I feel like I should still give it a chance, there is this whole other voice in my head that is confused and doesn’t know what to see in my future.

One side says i should go to this acting school in Studio City and there is this other part that wants to go to Moorpark College and work on building a resume for any agents in the future.

I’m trying so hard not to see my age as a ticking clock considering making it as an actor is easier in your twenties then when you hit your thirties and I don’t want to waste all of the twenties studying.

When it comes to the confusion, I feel I should pursue something else. The problem is I don’t know what else to pursue plus there is that feeling that I’m betraying myself and my childhood dream.

acting is an art in which alot of people are interested in, however, i believe that if you strive hard enough to succeed we will be successful. i want to do as much as i can to become someone.This is my dream. for anyone else who has this dream i hope and pray that all of us will someday make it to the top.

For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to be an actress. Most people I know who are doing it are just in it to be famous and rich but for me its not that. I don’t care about fame, fortune and glory. I just love to act. I get completely captivated by the craft and the work that goes into piecing together a character and bringing them to life. To be in movies and do some theatre would just be so much fun and I would love to be part of the entertainment industry.

I already have good headshots and a great acting teacher. I’m doing background acting at the moment which has been a lot of fun. We shall see what happens.

This has been my motto for so long in my life, and a good one. Yet, I’ve started to lose faith in it recently. I’ve come to this city to direct theater and been asked to perform more often than direct. Yet, I keep trying to direct. And I will continue to do so. However, upon being offered free headshots by a fairly eminent photographer more than two weeks ago, I have yet to call and make the freaking appointment. I have formulated all kinds of excuses of course, but ultimately, I’m procrastinating because I’m scared that if I listen to these signs and then don’t succeed, I will have no where else to turn. Maybe I just hear what I want to hear when I’m listening to the universe…and maybe it doesn’t matter but I should get the freaking headshots, eh? I wish I had a manager to give me a little discipline sometimes. Not that I take to authority well. ;)

I really want to become an actress in theatre or films because I think i have the talent and also it has been my life long dream!!!!!!!! I have gone to the mark jermin stage school for 8 years now and I have enjoyed it deeply. I love it and do not want to stop acting xxxxxxxxx
