buy and renovate an old house

i purchased my second old house in 2001. since then i have worked on the committee to establish our neigbhorhood as the largest heritage designated neighborhood in all of ontario! whoo we have 1022 houses! all in the 100 year age bracket or thereabouts! love my house, just wish i could get passed all the hard core big expense items and get to the actual heritage restoration. i have also gotten benjamin moore designers to put together the third heritage paint pallett in all of canada! they studied our time period, and the colours are pulled from their main heritage pallett for the time period of 1895-1910 which is the majority of times built!
