appreciate everything josh does for me and NEVER, EVER take him for granted

josh and i have been talking a lot lately and he has even been sharing things with me that he’s never told anyone before. i’m glad that he feels comfortable opening up to me and i look forward to knowing more

josh and i went to see romeo and juliet at the park and the seats were really uncomfortable so when i went to the bathroom he folded up the blanket for me to sit on so i could be more comfortable.

he also told me that he wanted to be the best boyfriend ever so he is reading books on relationships.

josh always says that today is the best day ever…because it is the only day, everything else is past or future. today while he was out of town he text me about what a rough day he’s had and that he thought of me and it was the best day ever. sigh…he makes my heart melt.

josh had it set up to go in to work late so i talked him in to going to the midnight showing of watchers on thurs instead of going to the first showing on friday. we didn’t get home until three am and even though he was tired and had to work the next day, he still stayed up late with me…and stayed in bed with me later than he should have in the morning. i’m glad he doesn’t mind that he doesn’t get enough sleep when we spend time together.

whenever josh goes to the grocery store he automatically gets me my own jug of oj because he likes extra pulp and i can’t stand it. he even gets me the mango oj!

one of the most original compliments i’ve ever received is one josh uses every now and then. he will look at me and say. “you thrill me”. there is just something about the way he says that that makes me feel so awesome.

also last night when i was talking about work and finances he told me that he was impressed by me. it’s like he sees all these good things about me that i didn’t notice were there and it feels good when he makes me look at my self differently, more positively.

tonight while i was at work josh text “it makes me smile to think of you being with me this time tomorrow”...sigh, i’m so lucky.

my boyfriend likes to keep his bedroom window open at night (even if it’s 20 degrees outside) AND keeps a fan on in his room. it’s freezing! last night he shut the window and turned the fan away from facing the bed because he knows i hate being so cold when i get up in the morning.

but..he loves that whenever i go to bed i’m so cold that i snuggle extra close to him till i fall asleep, so we compromised and will keep the window open and then whenever he wakes up he’ll close it so when i get up later on it won’t be as cold. yeah, he’s awesome like that…

i ended up not going out sunday night so josh ended up putting off his trip to walmart to stop by for a bit. even though he was only stopping by for a short period of time he still took a shower and put on cologne. he even stayed up past his bed time to curl up with me for a little while as i was trying to fall asleep.
