maybe i missed “the magic” it was hot, dirty and lonely. 3 friend and i contracted a field and they backed out.. me alone on 15 acres. nope no magic!

First tip,
wear long sleve clothing or you will be chaffed, chapped and or injured from, dirt,dust pollon, isecticide ect. But it is an amazing experiance. The wind will mysteriously pickup, corn is seldom still it puts off heat causing a lift in the atmospher. It’s enhanced when the corn is more mature, the leaves are dryer. Playing in the corn as a boy inspired a lot of thoughts especially spooky ones. This type of experiance may have been the inspiration for Stephen Kings, “Children of The Corn.” Although, the storey is structured in a resembleance to the “beleif system” in, Charles Hudsons, “Southeastern Indians.” But you never know ya know. . .

I personally really found it peaceful. It was a full moon and there was a nice cool breeze and it was great.
