thought it’s slow. Summer makes it kindof easy. It’s hard for me to wear any of my guys summer clothes, thank goodness. And summer dresses make it easy for me to avoid any of my baggy clothes. Now to get rid of the stuff I don’t want before the season turn once again.

Goodbye old friends... 9 months ago

I have a neighbor who is expecting – and she’s roughly my size. I have a small pile of the maternity I haven’t yet given away. I’ll try to get them into the van before I wear them as pj’s again. 2 nursing shirts, 1 supersoft nursing nightie, 2 maternity shirts, so far…
edit – ended up back on my body before I got them out to the van…

One piece of clothing at a time. Picked up 2 blouses yesterday at the 2nd hand shop. One is fabulous, the other, good enough. But both are definitely feminine, without being all girlie. No ruffles or frills, just little feminine touches. 3 other shirts, too. Eventually get my clothes out of my closet and off to goodwill.

Need to make a trip into Ottawa to hit the 2nd stores. The quickest, easiest and cheapest way to revamp the wardrobe. I was wearing some pj pants the other day – new ones from Christmas – and my husband mentioned how nice they were – and shapely. I pointed out they’re the only pair I have that actually fit me. All the rest are at least 2 sizes too big, and well stretched from baby belly. So maybe I need a coupla more pair of pj pants, too.

they’re so comfy! But the pants I have on now – that double as jammies hardly stay up. My little one often starts to pull them down on me. Another good reason to get rid of them!
