How to visit Ireland

How I did it: My dad took me. Got planes tickets and headed out. Lots of fun. Go during the summer. We rented a car and drove in a circle around Ireland. THe countryside of Ireland is amazing and beautiful. Totally up to expectations. Lessons & tips: Go to B&Bs, rent a car, look for family, get a chance to see the cliffs of moor, and soak in the countryside, dont go on a bus tour with 70 other people. Resources: A good map.

I spent about a week driving around Ireland and it was beautiful! The two things that I really recommend seeing are the town of Waterford (of Waterford Crystal fame) and the Blarney Castle. There’s nothing like climbing to the top of the castle and leaning over backwards to kiss the Blarney Stone while the guide holds your legs. It is a great experience and one I encourage you all to try!!

the country looks beautiful. my boyfriend is nearly full blooded. i NEED to experience ireland. <3 plus, who doesn't want to go to an irish pub. :)
