I can’t believe we’re pretty much on Baby Step 5 of Dave Ramsey’s plan. We’re debt free and have our 6 months of expenses in a money market account. We don’t have kids yet, so we’re not saving for college. It’s time to pay extra on the house.
We want to enjoy life a bit again too, so our current plan is to live off DH’s income and use at least half of my income on extra payments for the house. I don’t make a ton, but every bit helps.
