become a kindergarten teacher

I love my job. My kids are so sweet and caring and for the most part awesome. then you get those days where they are whiny and needy and act like five year olds.

The person who does this job has to have never ending patience, be reading to entertain, and be flexible!

This has been my dream job ever since kindergarten!

The most awe inspiring feeling comes over you when you see the moment a child learns something new :) I want that feeling every day!

I really want to fullfill my dream of doing this, and I have people telling me that it may not be worth it because of the pay…I ignore them of course. Not only that, I think it is so sad that it has to looked at in that way. Children are wonderful, and I know that I can die at peace knowing I did some part in helping the world grow. A small part, but a big one to them. I will never forget my Kindergarten Teacher. She sometimes comes into where I work and is so proud of what I have become. What a lovely lady!

I hope to get where she is, and look as good as she does too! HAHAHA!

Right now I’m a senior in high school and I’m doing cadet teaching. I help out the kindergarten teacher in the morning every other day and a teacher at the high school that teach’s junior high. I haven’t really gotten to work with the kindergarteners all that much, but I got to on last Wednesday. It was challenging, but fun. I really think that this is going to be a possible career choice I will be looking at in the near future.

I think I’d be great at it…now if only I have 50,000 dollars to go to school and survive for 4 years :P
