How I did it: In a swirl of confusion that was my last school year I was buried under emotional and academic stress unrivaled by any previous years. But this goal was not one to be procrastinated on, my time in school was running out quickly. When I finally got my priorities in order, and most importantly surrounded myself by a productive and positive environment, I was able to really focus on studying to succeed. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I wanted to get better grades after my 3rd quarter in 8th grade, and throughout 4th quarter I tried my best in homework, tests, etc. It takes self control (which I had to work on a lot) to not procrastinate and hold off school stuff to the last minute, but it was worth it. Now that I have all A's on my report card in middle school I was accepted to Middle College High School :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: I just learned how to do school better. I did everything instead of select assignments and I focused in class a lot more. I figured it was time to not be a slacker. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Studied. :) I put away childish things and stayed offline when I was really trying to concentrate. People who say studying doesn't work aren't doing it correctly, I think. Read how I did it…

I get mostly A’s and a couple B’s but I want to turn those B’s to A’s. I have the 2nd quarter to look forward to,a clean slate!
The school year has been in for a little under a month now. I have all A’s right now but I was out for two days. Now I’ve got all of this homework and quizzes and tests to study for, I’m not sure if I will be able to keep it up. It’s about 6: 17 right now and I have about 5 more hours of studying to go. Should I just give up? My mom says that if I work when I’m still recovering I will only get sicker. It is so much easier to just stop working. I hate doing that though, because it really stinks to see bad grades and no honor roll status. School is really hard for a kid with ADD.

I don’t usually spend my weekends studying so hopefully this will help…
My grades aren’t bad, actually. I have a 3.5 right now. I need better grades though. I recently started freshman year in high school, and the reality of how close I am to growing up has hit me. I want to go to UCLA, and I realize how selective they are. I need to improve so I can atleast have a chance.
I started slacking off during middle school…6th Grade I had a 3.72 GPA, 7th I had a 3.5, 8th I had a 3.2…I’m going into 9th. I can’t let this keep going. I want to get into a good college. And I know I CAN do better. I just need to study more, stop being so lazy, and stop procrastinating my work. In 8th Grade we had basically a year-long science project. Me and my partner got together only 3 times the whole year, and basically winged it on the day of the showing. We got a D, and that counted as 3 tests grades. I got 2 Cs on my report card for the first time in my life, and through High School colleges are gonna be looking. I guess the main thing is studying more.
