I didn’t make summer welcome leader this year, but hopefully that has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Now I’m applying to be a Mizzou Freshmen Outreach Leader. As an Outreacher I would appear on panels, do Sunday night phone calling to admitted students, and attend Missouri college fairs. This something that I’m really excited about and hope that I am selected for.
I submitted my application and made first round interviews. That went pretty well and I made second rounds. For that I had to prepare a 5-8 minute presentation about myself. Mine was on scrapooking! I made a mini-album about myself to show. I also created scrapbooking kits for the panel and did a 90 second how to scrapbook demonstration.
I think it went pretty well. I find out tomorrow afternoon if I made it!
