Have a closet that contains only "wearable" clothes

The closet is looking better this week! I’ve gotten rid of many items. The goal this week was to part with things I really liked, but were looking tattered and torn. I’ve do have SOME nice things in my closet but I always come back to the old stuff.

Also, this past weekend I stopped by a Goodwill to find items that would complete outfits already in my closet. I WILL tell you this got rather addicting! I spent about 2 hours looking through the racks for 2 only two pieces I loved. I got by with spending only a few bucks during a time we all really need to watch our spending. Goodwill still satiated my need for shopping! Needless to say, I found 3 other Goodwills in my city during the same weekend. :)

I went from 34 pairs of shoes today to 25. Each pair I decided to keep, are ones I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE! I polished them up and lined them in pretty rows in my closet :)

With the exception of some dresses, I’m giving myself 6 months to wear everything in my closet. After that, I’m getting rid of everything I haven’t worn. Haha…no, certainly I don’t have enough clothes to wear something different everyday :) but I do have LOTS of mismatched things… like, I have the cutest blue flowery skirt, and some brand-new-make-your-butt-look-nice-gray-pants-with-pink-pin-stripes and neither have shirts to match. This will take some time and work to acquire these needed items! JULY! GO ME!
