For Christmas, I got my family and friends animal adoptions from the World Wildlife Fund. They all really liked them and my aunt was so touched that she decided to become a monthly donor. I liked the fact that I had spent $150 on all the adoptions and I wasn’t having anxiety about the money I’d spent (like I sometimes do when I buy material gifts.) I decided that even though I’m a poor student, I still have enough money to eat out and go shopping so I should be helping out people who need it.

Really broke this month, so I volunteered for the HRC Gala…I think donating time is just as good as donating money :)
