Since I wasn’t here on Thanksgiving Day, and since we’ve had so much other food to eat during the Thanksgiving holiday, (and due to some simple procrastination as well,) I postponed baking the turkey I had bought until yesterday. It seemed like a bargain when I bought it, but if you add in all the time and energy it took to prepare it and cook it and store it and clean up both last night and today, I’m not so sure. But now it’s done. We had turkey for dinner last night, and I’ve got lots of leftover turkey and broth and other stuff and menus in mind for a number of meals. 3 years ago
