Don’t ask my why this would make me put such a thing on my to-do list for life, but several years ago, I found a birthday card that simply read “We should go bowling in Canada. That way when we’re old, we can look back and say, ‘Hey, remember that time we went bowling in Canada?’”
I’ve wanted to do it ever since.

After seeing Pearl Jam in Vancouver last year, my buddy Joe and I were walking around downtown Vancouver and stumbled across a bowling alley. Only it was Canadian Bowling, or if you will, 5 pin bowling. We were a little drunk and stoned, so we didn’t quite grasp the scoring system, but we still had a blast! The balls were like skee-ball balls. I would love to try this again the next time I go to B.C.
