Much like... stop thinking and act. 18 months ago

Not that I’m much of a scheduler or planner… but when it provides a sufficient distraction from living my life… unfortunately.. it seems to be my forte.

Instead of using this site as a means of wasting time… I want to actually use it as a tool to help me live the way I see myself living mot happily. Most true to myself. I want to see my goals and the tangible steps I’m taking towards them laid out in front of me.

I want to take action… instead of just filling my day with activity

Its taking up space on my list. I am not really bad about writing stuff down and not doing it.

Still doing good. 2 years ago

I find that keeping a list of my goals and reviewing them for about one hour each Sunday really helps keep the ball rolling. In fact, I made it one of my 43 things.

I found this website just this week and I find it interesting. I can see my progress, see others’ progress and share in the fun.

I am doing better with this goal. I am checking 43things.com daily now. A lot of my things do not get worked on, a lot of them are long term goals though. I think I will start breaking down some of the larger goals into smaller ones and work from there. This remind me of an awesome Mark Twain quote…

“The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.”

    I like lists.

Well, no luck getting the lists to stop but I have actually started doing many of the things on the list… I think that’s good enough!

    Wasting time 2 years ago

I’m definitely wasting way too much time thinking and not enough time doing lately, which is very unusual for me.
