I am always amazed when men give advice about this topic. Tis a bit like advising a woman to wear her hair short or long. No person can seriously think that their personal preference should have any bearing whatsoever on the issue.

I have had breast surgery, several times. The first few times were to cut out diseased parts of my own body. After a few of these, my doctors came up with the idea for therapeutic breast implants that they theorized would help my body recover from my particular infliction.

Not sure if the boobs did the trick, but I am cured. And those boobs were perfect. I truly loved them. I never particularly hated or loved my boobs before, but I was thrilled to have them (quite normal B/C cups very much like the ones God game me originally).

Later, I was injured and was forced to undergo a series of reconstructive surgeries. This time, I opted for a bit bigger boobs, in a totally emotional move that reflected my vainity about aging and so on.

While it is true that I liked my first fake boobs better, I also love my new ones. That, of course, has nothing to do with you.

I liken this question to any other condition you might have that makes you uncomfortable or contributes to you not liking yourself. If you have an overbite, or missing/crooked teeth. Or if you have hair color you don’t like, or if you hate having to wear glasses—you should do anything that is medically safe and affordable to change what you don’t like into something you would like.

Quite simply, it’s fine for someone to tell you that they love the gap in your teeth, or that they think you look fine with an extra 50 pounds. But it’s your body, and you have a DUTY to yourself to change it to your liking.

Course, if you are on the fence, then don’t do it. It should be your decision alone. I am one of the very rare people who didn’t willingly seek a boob job. But I am glad for the way it worked out.

If that helps.
