    I want to build a house big enough for my family as well as other families to visit. It should be around 7-10k sq. ft of floor space, with two master bedrooms and several smaller queen-Kind sized bedrooms.

    I like to size and looks of a plan from Taron Design, called the Shasta ( http://www.logdesign.com/shasta/ ).
