How I did it: The library had a poster up for an upcoming basket weaving class. I thought, that sounds fun. So I signed up for it. It was one day a week for 2 or 3 weeks (I can't remember for sure now) and by the end I had made a nice little basket that didn't turn out too bad if I do say so myself! : ) I also found out that basket weaving is very relaxing.
Lessons & tips: Check with your local library for upcoming classes and presentations. You never know what might be interesting to you. They don't take alot of time and they don't cost very much either. (some are even free)

All I need to do is find out what classes the local art supply stores are offering. They always have something going on and since I don’t really know how to do anything crafty, anything they offer will be a new skill.
