Tai Chi started today 1 week ago

It was great! I’m doing hour-long sessions of Tai Chi every Tuesday and Thursday morning. I feel like I actually have energy, which is great considering I’ve been really sick for the past week and sick just about a month now. It’s not quite yoga, but this is a great routine. I’ll probably be doing it every day once our Master teachers us all the routines. I’m the youngest person there by about thirty to thirty-five years.

So far so good. I try and do at least 20 minutes every night before bed. There is no better way to get over depression than yoga and meditation in my mind.

I’ve found a great way to practice the standing poses…. in the pool! The tree pose is SO much easier once you have water buoying you up. You don’t feel the stretch as much, though.

This is very important, but somehow I don’t do it. As of today I will. Even if its just 5 minutes. I need to find a good routine as well – I will start to collect resources and tips to find a good, 20 minute routine to do every night, and will the try and increase it to 30 mins and 45 mins and then an hour every night. Im motivated!

When I say yoga I mean from the Yoga Sutras, “Yoga is the intentional stopping of the spontaneous fluctuations of the mind”

The benefits are unbelievable, I can’t even fathom why this isn’t taught in schools everywhere

granted, 2 are being held indefinitely but still… no excuses! i have a yoga DVD that i don’t even need, i just need to stop being lazy and get on that mat! today i will do yoga when i get home from work.

I need to get back into the habit of doing yoga. I was doing it on my WiiFit, but I work 2 jobs and just got lax about finding the time to fit it in. So starting tomorrow (because I work until 10pm today), I will do it!

Started to learn some new postures, not difficult ones, justthe simple ones, and I may develop into more complex later when I have become more stronger and flexible.
Now, I just need motivaton to do this everyday.
Maybe when getting up in morning and just before going to bed will be a good time.

I love yoga. I do it about four times a week. I would like to get stronger so I can do it every day, and also would like to learn many more postures.
