go on a multi-day horse back trip

Not that they will get used for a while, but I was visiting a friend in Arizona and we went to a feed store where I saw some reasonable saddle bags that were very inexpensive. So I bought them. :) I had been looking online but I don’t like buying things online when I am not sure exactly what I want. Maybe I’ll search for a good deal at a Dude Ranch in November/December and actually use the bags.

That would be fun.

And in the SW it is still possible to go for a multi-day horse back trip. I want to start out with a 3-4 day trip and work up to a month long trip. The shorter trips will teach me how to pack and what I need to learn for an extended trip. I want this to be a self-contained trip as well.
