get an earring

Actually, I had my ear pierced 10 or 15 years ago, as I celebrated my Second Childhood. When I started taking karate classes, I had to take my earring out; eventually it became a pain to remove and replace it all the time, so i just left it out.

Now my 15-year-old has decided he’d like an earring, which is fine, and I’ve decided to go through my Third Childhood and get repierced. Since he’s doing karate right now, I’m going to wait until spring soccer season starts, so he won’t have to deal with removing it all the time.
