get two kittens

Our apartment is just right for us. But for two kittens, it’s not fair to have them here, so this will have to wait until we have moved, and are settled.

...until I have a job, because of course once we get them, we will have to take them to the vet, take out insurance, etc., as well as food, beds, a nice big scratching post, yada yada.

It’ll be better to wait, I think.

I actually got 3. :]
But they had viruses and stuff and two of them died.
The third is now really lonely.
Looks like we’ll have to get more!

Copied the number, ready for when I move over. I don’t know whether we’ll get them straight away, probably not, maybe in the new year (that’ll be ‘09, hehe). But it’s fun and exciting to think about. It’s just another part of the moving/living alone (well, me & Erik alone, that is) process.

and they didn’t look or act anything alike.

They still live together even though I don’t see them much. They had to be given away to a family friend.

Fletamose and Maximus.

Fleta is an all black short haired.
Maximus is a tabby short haired.

They are as far apart but as close together as can be.

I rescued them from a shelter, Fleta was walking in the door to be left there and I asked for her and took her with me.

I’ll have to find my pictures soon and post.

Even though it’s probably about a year or so away, it’s just another fun thing to think about :)

Me and my girlfriend is planning on getting two cats when she’s living with me.

If Erik and I will be living in our own place, we’ve decided we’ll adopt 2 kittens from a rescue place. I am looking forward to it all :)
