graduate with high honors

One step closer to reaching my goal today. I passed the oral defense of my thesis today, and I printed out my poster for the Honors College poster fair. Now just to make my finals edits to the thesis and take my finals. 21 months ago

I was supposed to do the main research for my thesis project this summer so that I could take the whole year to expand the project and write up the thesis paper. However, my advisor has apparently dropped off of the face of the planet. I’ve e-mailed him multiple times, called his office, slipped notes under his office and lab door and even stopped by the office and put a note in his mailbox. I was worried about this at first, but the school year will be plenty enough time to do the project. 2 years ago

To graduate from the Honors college with high honors I have to finish a thesis and have a 3.8 GPA.

I currently have a 3.94, and I have started getting my thesis ready. I should get all of the research done over the summer so that I can have all of fall to prepare for my defense in spring semester. 2 years ago

I ended up graduating second in my class..the most highly contested ranking ever…so not too shabby. A Regents scholar. Honor cords for NHS and Honor Roll. Topeka Journal All-State Scholastic Team. Not a bad way to end my high school career! 3 years ago

I’m the President this year, so I had to lead the ceremony…we had 4 inductees so thats nice, we have more bodies when it comes to service project time, lol.
The highlight of the evening for me was receiving my honor tassel for graduation..one of five kids in my class to get one.
The way it stands I’ll be Salutatorian…I have a near genius in my class he’ll be number one, but hey number two isn’t too bad…now to make it through all of the homework and tests until May… which approaching quicker than I thought it would. 4 years ago
