It’s been aboput two weeks now since I started actually attempting to work out on a consistent basis, and I’m happy to report that I’ve been keeping up pretty well. Other than my scheduled rest days, I’ve done some form of workout every day. Even if I didn’t have much time, i still did at least something. So I’m feeling good about it mostly. I would like to increase the intensity of some of the things I’m doing. I’ll probably need to start a workout journal… 4 years ago

I’ve always struggled with working out consistently. Recently i was waking up at 4:45am to work out before workout. I worked, and aside from being exhausted after 9pm, I was feeling good. I was going to bed at midnight (and sometimes later) so i wasn’t getting much sleep. I toughed it out… and then I began to get sick (colds) often. Soon I came to realize that my body needs rest.
Workout out afterwork is not feasible either. I get home after 8pm and need to eat and take care of 2 dogs – - aside from the fact that my energy levels are low in the pm hours. I also have a girlfriend who wants to see me, eat dinner with me, etc. 6 years ago
I really like working out. If I like the gym I’m at. I dont like co-ed gyms because it becomes a meat-market. And I have found one gym that would be great, called “Defining Eve” but it is SO expensive, I can’t afford it. Maybe I’m just stubborn, but I feel like its the gym that is holding me back. 6 years ago
