summer is here!
ive overworked myself a little this spring, basically just trying to organise my life and have enough money to travel.
spring hasnt been amazing for me – im desperately trying to leave ox for better pastures now, but i am very appreciative of:
-making 2 new good friends
-a new boyfriend who adores me (and me him-mostly)
-finishing university
-riding my beloved bike all over the place! fun stuff!
- enjoying the sunshine whilst it is here
so spring hasnt been all bad.
what about summer then guys?? what shall we do??

so spring is over. When I arrived on 19th of May, it was really hot in Europe everywhere. But I had a nice time, I can’t complain. In the last two weeks we did lots of travelling, visited Slovenia, Italy, Greece and Cyprus. It was exhausting and relaxing in the same time.
So Laura, it’s time to find a new goal for the summer! :)

seeing water turtles & ducks & baby ducks at the park today!
One of the bigger turtles was so cute!
It was sort of bitter-sweet!
He was trying to get out of the water by climbing out with his little feet/claws paddling & pushing but he just couldn’t do it.
Splash, he would fall back in.
He would swim a little ways down & get up & try again!
He kept trying again & again!
I really wanted to try & help him, but knew it was best just to let him be!

on the Kwa-Zulu Nata south coast this week.
It was 27 deg celsius today, with little wind,and quite a cloudy sky.

This goal is so much easier than the “appreciate winter” goal.
I went for a bike ride today and the lilacs are in bloom. I like the rain, I like the sunshine. Spring is my favorite season.

I forgot how much I enjoyed blowing bubbles & watching little kids pop them!
I really should do this more often, so much fun!
