Hi.
As I am preferring linux on the pc for which I do the most programming I think I should tell the nice site which I have just found for learning C
www.linuxchix.org
well they have also tutorials on Python and some other stuff, all is useful for the linux users who simple haven’t got very settled with his system.

I am a computer networking major but I would like to learn programming just for the heck of it.
Well im not a fully qualified programmer or anything, as im only 14, but ive been doing C++ on and off since primary school (age 8), yea im a lil of a nerd, along with visual basics, i love both languages but C++ is alot more advanced and works on a more advanced level.
worth doing by far.
This one is actually going pretty well at the moment. I’m moving on to the more intermediate/advanced stuff now.
My problem with C was always the little things but after lots of thinking (and coding) I’m starting to get the hang of it.
Next is assembler and systems programming so i can be an uber-hacker :)
I’ve done the school version, I want more. I make my living doing networking, so it isn’t that much of a stretch.
