How I did it: I stumbled onto a promotion offering a free lunch gift card if you test drove a new lexus.
This was kind of random, but you might check with dealerships if they have any other promotions like these.
Lessons & tips: -Loved the fancy screen showing what engine was working
-Didn't love the expensive pricetag
-Didn't love the quietness of the electric motor...prefer to know if my car is on

My mileage isn’t all that much better than a similar car, especially with cold winters and lots of hills. I’ve had the car for two and a half years, and put 40,000 miles on it, and it’s going to take me at least another 100,000 miles to recoup the extra $2,000 or so it cost me.
