I sent an email to my university thanking them for their assistance with commencement. I received a nice email back. This is such an easy goal to accomplish, and my last entry was a year ago!

I am going to move this up in my list so that I do this more often. It is so simple to just say “Thank you” or “good job” and I need to make it a priority to tell more people. 3 months ago

When I first put this on my list, it was intended to get me to write to people and thank them when they did nice things. I am not much of a writer. Instead I have been thanking people in person, which may make them a bit uncomfortable at the time. Most people appreciate the acknowledgement. This goal is long overdue. 15 months ago

The website had some stores in the area which carried the garlic juice. The first store was out. The second store had one bottle left. The guy who I was talking to on the phone put the juice away for me without my even asking! I got to the store about an hour later and asked for the juice. Out of the 4 people behind the counter I was talking to the guy who had answered the phone. I am a happy customer. They will get more of my money in the future.

It was a great Italian deli in Glendale. Reminded me of Europe. I did buy some groceries since I was there. :) 21 months ago

A group of people worked hard to accomplish this goal. While others may not appreciate the significance of this goal, you do and that is all that matters. Celebrate the accomplishment and acknowledge their part in the achievement. 22 months ago
