Get back to genealogy research

My friend and I have not been able to do any genealogy research away from home due to her being sick (bad knee and operation). I have a new genealogy program, and I have been using Ancestry.com to find things that I haven’t been able to go out and find. Ancestry.com is worth the money!

Finally got back to doing research, only for summer to come, school out, and keeping 2 grandsons during the week. Will be the middle of August before we start back again. But, I am subscribed to Ancestry.com now; so I can work some at home, checking things.

I’ve gotten back to genealogy research again, after being out for another three weeks – husband was in hospital and had surgery. Yesterday was great. Hopefully, we’ll be able to keep this up for awhile.

Made it to the genealogy library again Tuesday. Getting back into the swing of things!

Finally got back to research on Tuesday with my friend. A cousin I never knew I had also got hold on me on Friday of last week, sharing lots of information of her side of the family, which was appreciated. Feels SO good to be back in it!

Hopefully, next week, I will be able to once again get back to genealogy research. Do I miss it!! Grandkids back in school on Thursday gives me hope for the next week, if my friend is available to go.

After years of researching our families, my friend and I had to take time off due to sickness in her family. Her Mother/i/law just passed away, after about a 2 yr illness. We will probably start back to researching after school starts. Can’t wait!
