So, I was able to press a few copies via a friend’s PC just before the holidays. So that makes my official release date December, 2007. Already sold about a dozen copes, and now with my new iMac (drool) I’ve been burning more copies to sell at open mics and performances. I’m playing a show in NJ in mid-March. Perhaps I’ll get a few more copies sold! 3 years ago

I stated my record Label a few months ago… Right now I have 3 artist to label. Their name are B Eazy, Jonny, and Money Mark. We did many show in south florida, and plan to go on tour this summer. Look out for the album coming in stores soon… 4 years ago

I’ve been rapping since I was ten. Now my cousins are rapping too. We have a group and what now. We’ve talking to labels we’ve had the contracts there, but somehow, someway it always fell through. So I figure like this if somebody ain’t doing it right. Then you got to learn to do it yourself, get good at it, then show them how its done. 4 years ago

So the artwork is in from the printer, and it looks great. However, the CD duplicator I bought is being buggy – it performed the test run flawlessly, but any attempt afterward has ended in strange errors. May need to return it and re-think my duplication process. Gah! Still hoping for a December release date. May need to use the good old CD burner and press these suckers one-by-one. 4 years ago

I have started two different labels both were started in Ca$hville aka Nashville “music city” I reccomend that you only do this if you’ve got the time and money to do this. There are many resources online where you can sell your own music. Ever since I was in college about 5 yrs. or so ago and took every music class I could take, I wanted to have my own indie label. I still think that this goal is achievable (hence me choosing it for one of my 43 things), but I look at it more as something I will do after I establish my career instead of my main career move. 4 years ago

this is something i want to do.
i don’t necessarily want to make a money, so i might as well just make an online label with free mp3 albums. i want to combine this with an actual record shop, old vinyls and stuff. like, i run the record shop and the independent label in the same place. that would be so awesome. 5 years ago

I have alraedy started a label here in seattle washington. It is called Streetgreed Entertainment. My husband and I are the owners and we currently have 8 artist. Being that we are in seattle and no one has really blown up in here. We are trying to put the 206 on the map. so far everyone who has heard us say we are the ones. 5 years ago
