How I did it: I just started following a bunch of youtube beauty bloggers and red reviews. Ruby Woo by MAC seemed to be a popular choice, so I gave it a try. I instantly fell in love with the classic color! I'm wearing it in my avatar :)

Try the Macao 42 from Chanel in the Aqualumiere range. It is shiny and nice.If you want a red that closer to wine then try the Barbados 47.

I want a shade that I can wear often, not just on special occasions. My skin is very cool (the veins on the inside of my wrists actually look bluish purple), and I’d want something moisturizing. Long lasting isn’t quite as important, ‘cause I want my mouth to be just as kissable as it looks. Lots of shine isn’t necessary, either, but, at the same time, I wouldn’t want something really matte. Maybe something satiny or velvety.
