be more open minded

I dismiss things far too easily because I think very specific situations will arise. They only do because that’s all I let them become. Time to open up and just give it a go, what is there to lose?

i miss the days when i was so open minded to anything and everything, ya know, when i could just walk up to some one and ask “wanna be my friend?” and not worry about weather they were a prep or a geek, no matter what kind of music they listen to or what clothes they wear, being so uberly fasinated by the smallest things…like, santa, and the tooth fairy, not knowing if they were real or not, but having faith, and an imagination…im going to be more open minded, it will make life so much more fun!

I feel so lucky that I’ven’t lost much altho I’ve made many mistakes. Each time I gain a widening of perspective that allows me to live and breathe better. Altho I don’t seem to have progressed as much as I did in acting school, it’s prob. coz I am less easily shaken now. Altho my current situation is strange, it’s the little things that make me realize kindness is given to me that give me shots of hope. Maybe I’ve progressed alot lately, but I am just accepting it more.

I’d like to see why people do the things they do and why they do them. I’d like to learn about why people act certain ways. I’d like to learn about the reason the different cultures condone different things and why they do. I want to know why people discriminate against others.

Its worth doing only because when you are open minded nothing bothers you as much as it used to which is good but at the same time it makes it harder to understand other peoples frusterations.
