renew my passport

A minimum requirement to completing any portion of item #12.

It was really easy. I thought I was going to have to drop the paperwork off in Miami but didn’t!

I will be getting my passport pics this weekend and the money order to mail with the application for renewal. Then it is a waiting game.

Thurs. I need to get my passport pic, get directions
Fri. Stop by the office and drop everything off.
Sat. Wait impatiently for passport to arrive.

it will run out in august i think, so although i’ve just been abroad for the first time in 5 years – Rhodes was awesome – i think it feels odd not to have a valid one, so better get it sorted soonish.

I’ve been meaning to get my passport renewed for some time now – at leat having it on my list will help me remember to get it done. It’s just a pain to have to do it in person because my name changed when I got married and I want to get one for my daughter too. I have to get this done before hubby deploys!

So excited, except they took a great pic and something about the plastic overlay gave me a majorly red tinge.

The new format is a bit ostentatious too…I kinda liked the boring ol’ traveller format…although I suppose they had to make up for the fact that the pages will remain blank and unstamped for most ppl not travelling to places that require visas. New electronic aspect is pretty cool though.

Now it’s just time for the All Clear card!

Gah! It has been three weeks and I have done nothing to make this happen! Have to get moving on this!

I’ll renew it when I move to a new place. I don’t want this address to linger anywhere after I’ve left.
