How to renew my passport"Piece of cake... I should have done it earlier."
How I did it: My old passport was expired because if you get it before you're 18, it only lasts 5 years. Lessons & tips: Don't wait until you need your passport... If I didn't have to pay for expedited service, I would have saved $60. Resources: "How to Renew Your U.S. Passport"

How I did it: Picked up the forms and filled them out, got the pictures taken at a local photography shop, and mailed everything out on the same day. Couldn't be easier! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I am a procrastinator and have put this off for years because I never thought that I would ever travel anywhere. Last year I decided that what I want to do is to travel and work overseas and so the very first thing I did was to get the paperwork to get my passport. I need to add that I am a British subject who has lived in the US for 40 years and moved many many times so I don't know where most of my "stuff" is. I set th… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Fill out the form, get the picture, write the check and send it in. So simple. I just needed a kick in the pants to do it. I went online and typed renew passport and came up with tons of "pay us to do it for you places" Ignore them. Downlaod the form fill it out and send it in directly to the adress listed. So dumb to pay another place to do it for you. Some places where charging a lot of money. Read how I did it…

How I did it: This one is a bit obvious. I got the form from my local post office, filled it out, paid for it and sent it . It arrived a few weeks later, and it was done. Thankfully its one job I won't have to do for another couple of years ! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I filled out the online application, hand delivered it to the passport office in London, Ontario. Received the passport within 2 weeks via Canada Post. Read how I did it…

Solena D. had a bad dream
I just rang the police station to ask about the biometric passport and my passport photo, since I’ll be wearing glasses and contacts on and off in a few days, but got no answer. God forbid they should be doing their job in their working hours!
My passport has expired lately and I want to renew it so that I can travel to the United States and Europe (and other places as well). I will get it done by the beginning of July.

Renewed my passport late last year. The new passports are quite nice actually; the stamp pages have quotes and American scenes as the backgrounds. The thing is stiff as a board, though. My passport photo is also absolutely atrocious.
Here’s hoping that this passport brings me to many, many countries ~
BdaGirl wonders why Americans never invite new people to 4 July celebrations
I should have renewed my passport ages ago. There was trouble with everything. I didn’t like my passport photos – they made me look like a serial killer. And there are a few new rules you need to be aware of like you’re no longer allowed to smile at all, the photos have to be a certain size and you have to fit within the space in perfect alignment. Also you have no idea how long it will take the passport office to process your request. I was lucky in that my passport arrived at the office fairly quickly, took less than a week to process and then took 3weeks to get back to me! You also have the option of renewing your passport a year before the due date. But, because I left mine until after the last minute I subsequently missed Christmas vacation with my family and was all alone – Not to be recommended!.

I got my new passport yesterday!!! Yippeee!!!
You’d think that this task wouldn’t require the status of “life goal,” but it’s been out of date for 3 years and I’ve been thinking about it since. It seems posting things here makes me actually do them. So it is. So it shall be done.

It has been 12 days since it was delivered. I guess I should be patient.
Paraphrasing a popular Hindi film song…

aayii naa kuchh Khabar “passport” kii
;-) I never liked that song, though!
