solve turing test

its a goal that many computer scientists can only dream of. building a machine that can pass the turing test. the implications of such a discovery will be similar in wideranging ramifications and importance to the discovery of fire.
I have mountains of books on the subject & took a class, “introduction to philosophy of AI” as a freshman in college. have written essays. I have some unique ideas but currently my thinking is most in line with Jeff Hawkins, writer of “On Intelligence”. I believe success will revolve around advances in a very basic, pragmatic problem that is still very mysterious in the field, such as vision recognition, speech recognition, etc.; again I take a very practical and applied approach.
