sun tso said if you want to know a man eat with him live with him wear his clothes be his best friend and then years later hang him over a active valcano to his death and then you will know that man.
i think fighting is a important part of life weather is be phyical of verbal, you will never know your self till you get the crap kicked out of you and or you see a man cring in true fear from you beating him down

Fighting is exhilarating when you’re young and stupid and don’t realize the potential consequences. Fighting at that point can seem “fun”, especially if you win. But that’s before you go up against a guy who blinds you with eye gouges or knees you in the crotch then soccer kicks you in the face until you need reconstructive surgery. These people are out there, I’m one of them.
I’m at the point now where I know how to badly maim someone in a fight or even kill them with various choke holds. More importantly, however, is I know there are many people out there who could take me apart and leave me broken down on the side walk or dead in a ditch.
Therefore, fighting is no longer a game or something to do for “fun” or a way to prove a point or impress people. I’ll pull a weapon before an aggressor is within 5 feet of me guaranteed. I’m not playing games, I’m not out on the streets looking for a fight. I’m just a normal dude with some hand to hand combat training, some firearms training, who carries a legally concealed pistol and a knife for good measure.
There’s not a person I pass on the street in a given day who’s life I consider more valuable than my own. Think about that before you go looking for a fight; survival is not something to take chances with.

I have three big scars on my head, a goose egg, and grin on my face. I stopped a J walker, turns out he had drugs. He ran, I chased, he tried to climb a wrought iron face, I grabbed him, pulled him down, we tussled, and I ended up with him in a leg lock that he couldn’t break.
I cut my head on the fence, but he’s in JAIL now.

Today I faced a man in the street. He wanted to keep his heroin capsule. I wanted him to go to jail. We ended up wrestling on the asphalt with me coiling around him like a Boa. Squeezing, gripping, countering everything that he did until …. he gave up.
It was raw, and pure, and my heart soared. I’d honored the caveman.
