    Finished :O 1 week ago

Somehow, slowly, this has been done! Now I’m gonna cash in everything and I’ll be happy with my extra cash :)

    Slight Delay 3 weeks ago

My bag got stolen with my loose change in it, yuck yuck yuck. I don’t think the change will ever arrive back safely, so it may take a bit longer than a few days to finish this goal now. Fallen at the last hurdle :(

    So close! 4 weeks ago

I’m very nearly done with this :) I can see the money through the slot in the box, and its getting hard to put money into the box. So very soon…

I start doing this in August I think. So now I have 51,86 Euro in my money box and it is not even half full yet. I will update every month.

I must have been spending notes a lot more quickly since I last checked :P

I now only have £69.12. Hardly any change. Ah well :) there’ll be more some time soon.

    Hehe. 4 months ago

Somehow I’ve managed to acquire £67.31 in spare change since March. Considering I don’t work and I have very few methods of earning money, that is incredibly good! And I’m still not finished!

I don’t think there’s much left, I’ll know when it’s finished though. By the end of the year, I hope.

    Counting 5 months ago

I counted again, and I think i had about £44.68. Or something. And I’m still not full.

This is a really hard goal to accomplish! First, my fiance and I tend to use a debit card more than cash, so we don’t often have change. And now that we need change for the washers and dryers, we have been dipping into our jar. =( This was a lot easier when my fiance had a job where, at the end of the night, all the tips came home and went into the jar. In a month we could cash it in for about $80. We’ll get there, though, and then we’ll be able to cash it in and have, what we call “free money”.
