Well, guess what? Putting it in water didn’t do anything except make the water absolutely reek! I have changed the water over and over, still nothing. And the smell is beyond tolerable—-so, I have tossed the offending ti plant stick away! Too bad, so sad!

A fruit seller at the Farmer’s Market in Kauai gave me a Ti Plant. It is a dry looking “stick” that you put in water until it sprouts and comes back to life. Then you plant it in dirt. It’s a gorgeous red and purple and green leafy houseplant. I can’t wait for it to sprout! 4 years ago
