We had one of those bikes with two seats and my dad used to take me riding all the time. I miss those days…

My parents have an absolutely ancient, dust-encrusted tandem in the garage. One day I came home to find that my father had dug it out and was eager to see if it still worked. We rode it around the neighborhood a few times and it still worked perfectly fine. It was lots of fun and people stared.

This is fun – it’s good teamwork, and slightly less effort than riding two seperate bicycles.

My husband and I did this on a date once. It was a major pain and not very fun. It sounds romantic, but it’s worse than letting your spouse drive!

we had one for a summer. once you get in the groove its really fun. It was also nice because i was younger and my dad was on it with me, so he did most of the work.

well it must be 16 years ago. Some friends of mine had really built one tandem, using two normal bicycles. That was funny !
