have been sick with bronchitis, so feel really rung out, had some bloods done and it has shown up I have raised liver enzymes/fatty liver.
Been looking it up and see the links with abdominal fat and insulin resistance.
When will I ever learn? I suppose it’s a wake up call.
Being overweight for 10 years may well be putting me towards liver disease.
It makes me really want to change my diet immediately.
So I need to go low cal, low fat, low alcohol, low sugar.
I need to eat regular low gi meals based on oats, eggs, lean meat and fruit. No unrefined sugar, no to little alcohol.
I know how to do this. I get panicky and think I need to read a certain book or sign up to a certain way of eating, but I don’t. The only thing I really need to remember is to stay away from the unrefined sugars. They are the things that are ruining my health.
So, I have a fatty liver. I must do something about it.
I think I need to write a plan. I expect it will go something like this
up day down day for the alternate days. The low days can be the shakes I have (full of vitamins).
the alternate days can be oat based brecky with grated apple, lean meats and eggs and veggie stews, pulses. I need to come on here daily and write my stuff as well. I will also do a video diary as I know that putting down my thoughts is needed. 18 months ago
