on this, and I can see why I got so far behind. It’s time-consuming! I have to edit the photos on Snapfish (removing red-eye, etc.), then order prints, then label the prints with names, places and dates, then put them in the albums. It takes me about 2-3 hours total to do an average month.

I was a little more than three years behind when I made this resolution on Jan. 1. Today I put April 2008 photos into the album.

Ugh, this catch-up process could take more than a year.

On the bright side, it’s really fun looking at three-year-old pictures of the kids. I’m amazed at how much all three of them have grown and matured in that time. In addition, I look like I weighed a good forty pounds heavier three years ago than I do right now. Those pics aren’t as fun to look at, but it beats the heck out of how I’d feel if the situation were reversed. Yay me! 2 years ago

1. Organise photos on computer.
Done! My PC has an annoying little habit of reshuffling my albums, so I’ve numbered them all, then name, so I can just order by name and voila!

2. Identify where my albums leave off.
I have the Summer Ball from my last year of uni in there and that’s the last of it. Which means I have a HELL of a lot to fill in.

3. Print off photos.
Going to have to wait. I’m very skint and there are 7 events to print from- and I’m snap happy!
527 to print off and put into albums!!!! THIS is why I need to stay on top off this!

4. Put into albums.

Might Will definately need to buy another album.

5. Organise box of misc. photos.
That is, all the photos that have been printed more than once or little polaroid photos and other such nonsense. I have a box full.

6. Put into collage/scrapbook album/frames/etc.
Of course, 5 and 6 can be done asap.

And I’ve just found a disposable camera which needs printing off too :S ! (Not a clue what’s on it.) 2 years ago

I’ve not printed off any photos in over a year now. BIG project! Will have to wait until I have some money for the printing, as there were a few big events which I’ve got LOADS of photos for (a 21st birthday, a wedding, a hen night, my graduation, along with other, smaller events). 2 years ago

I realised yesterday that there are no photos in my albums since July 2006. Thats one year out of date! So before the new baby arrives – 12th Sept if on time – the goal is to get the last year in. Hmmm, I’ve chosen photos for August, Sept and Oct 2006 and need to get them printed and stuck in. Once I get going I know I can get it done, but it is one of those jobs that I guess will never be 100% done! 5 years ago

The local place has a cheap deal for the printing of digital pictures. So I reckon instead of the usual spend ages printing them on the little printer at home this would get me ahead and I can quickly stick them in the albums. Then I should really keep up with things a bit better. This weekend I shall put the pictures on the disc/card then and so I can get them printed up in the week 7 years ago
