Find one thing I can do every day to make those I love happier

a date, just mom and son. Thanks WN for the idea. We might wait a bit before he dons a tie and we go for dinner, but I liked the one on one time with him.

because he had a bad cough. So, when I got home, I cooked a fabulous meal (even though Andrew was crawling around my legs like a bug) and cleaned up the kitchen while dinner was cooking. 40 minutes of slave labor after stopping at the store to buy the ingredients after work.

I did take a minute to walk over to Barry, give him a big kiss and say something like: “this is a great way to be treated after you’ve been home all day with him, isn’t it?” HINT HINT!! Hey, he doesn’t take subtle hints very well and I’m about to go on leave for 12 weeks!!

because he was sick. Barry was too busy at work. I’m out of vacation days, so I might not get paid, but I’m trying to be supportive. Besides, I had a good day with Andrew. Long. I don’t know how people do it home alone all day and night with hubby’s out of town and such. Barry had golf after work and he only has two weeks left, so he didn’t want to miss it.

Bring cupcakes into daycare to celebrate his birthday on Sunday!

to the room that used to be the guestroom. We’ve moved out the treadmill and are cleaning out the closet. I bought a new rug with different sports balls on it and a new bookshelf – all very boyish. I’ve always wished I’d decorated his bedroom better when he was born. Now his room gets a real personality:) Lots of trucks and balls!

even though I can’t eat any. (Tomato sauce kills me lately) It was appreciated. I admit that I could tell Stauffers lasagna microwaved is kind of tough, though. I was too late to let it cook for 85 minutes.

Let DH sleep in and took Andrew with me to church so he’d have a quiet house.

Saturday 3/28
Stayed home with Andrew so Barry could go to a friend’s party, where he had a great time with his old friends. I’d like Barry so start socializing with his friends more.

Monday 3/30
Got all ready before Andrew woke up so I could focus on him in the morning, not on how much DH DOESN”T help in the morning.
