I’ve been going Monday nights with Daughter2, a solid hour of learning how to use those machines. So far my preference is the treadmill, the up and down step thingy, and the dip and zoom speed skater type treadmill, bike….mostly all leg work.
I’m still avoiding the upper body/arm workouts. ugh.
But my other goal of push ups is, at least, a start.
Maybe a game of netball?

Membership covers swimming and gym from 6am to (7pm swim) 10pm gym.
Can cycle there too.

Am officially menopausal…..so says the doctor…no drastic symptoms except the occassional unexplaianed horrible headaches, irregular cycles, and a a sometimes-vagueness which affects my words and my driving ability….well, at least I don’t get those hot flushes, well not yet!!!
I probably need some natural remedies to help me with this….any ideas?
Looked in a health shop and was about to buy some black cohosh but I used to have alarming migraines (the works: flashing lights, stroke like symptoms etc) kept at bay by regular magnesium/calcium intake: so this herb is off limits to the migraine affected, apparently.
Maybe a liver cleanse?
My lovely doctor mentioned doing the gym thing to encourage healthy bones BUT I have to get over this aversion for the standing still and- lifting/pushing/pulling training….maybe I can add weights to my ankles and wrists when I go out walking and runnning? Will this do?
