We’ve been remodeling for, quite literally, years; with the whole upstairs torn apart, down to empty stud bays for so long, finally insulation, now finally – finally! – drywall is going up. We’ve made progress to a point where I can actually form a mental image of the rooms with color on the walls, and patterns on the couches and chairs. Trim, curtains, light fixtures—there’s hope!
I’m going to start a 3-ring binder with pages of color and pattern ideas, starting at one end of the house and progressing through the whole place. It’ll take me months to collect paint chips and swatches we can both be happy with, but I don’t want to wait until it’s time to do something about the finishing touches and then end up getting overwhelmed by the task. 4 years ago
