this was easy enough. first of all I live in a foreign country (Saudi Arabia) and I also go to a American International School with classmates from all over the world.

How I did it: I went potluck for my college roommate (random person) and I ended up paired with an exchange student from france! Through her I've been able to meet a ton of other exchange students from all over the world... England, France, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Mexico, Italy... and many others. Each person has so much to offer on their views of life. How I did it: I was working in Dallas TX at a grocery store. She was my co-worker. I wish I could remember her name; she was gorgeous and young. She was Danish. One day she told me she liked a little coffee in her milk and showed me how to make it. Now you can buy Cappacino Coolers in stores which is basically the same thing. Yum. I guess its kinda awesome to meet people from other countries. You could learn a lot doing it. I’m trying to get pen friends from all over the world. Hopefully this will help me accomplish my dream of knowing a lot of people…

This goal came from the magic 8 ball. I’ve met tons of people from different countries and I think everybody else should try to make friends outside their own country, too. Getting to know people from other cultures helps to understand why the world is like it is and it helps to see things from a different point of view.

this girl saved my life in history this year. especially covering europe, kitty was from denmark and is still one of my best friends

There is a nothing better than pointing to a map and saying, “you know I should really visit Africa. I’d love to see Carol again.”
Though email makes friendships like that possible it’s a great feeling to know you have friends all over the world.
