Worth doing!

There is a nothing better than pointing to a map and saying, “you know I should really visit Africa. I’d love to see Carol again.”
Though email makes friendships like that possible it’s a great feeling to know you have friends all over the world.

Everyone should experience a culture unlike their own – especially in another country. Take an opportunity to meet and talk to people from other countries. Be open and honest & you will be surprised what you will learn about yourself and how others view your country and stereotypes about being from the USA

Not worth it!

My old “best friend” is Canadian, and did things that caused me to hate the entire country.

Multi-cultural Miami  — 1 year ago

Worth doing!

Actually most people of my and my parent’s generation living in Miami at this time are from one of many other countries, so I think I’d like to meet someone from my country!

At work there are 13 people in my group and only one is from the USA. We have Cubans (of course), India, Camaroon, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Russia and Venezuela represented. Oh, I guess I should count myself as from the USA since I was born here, so 2 people are from the USA.

I love Miami!
