Hannah Argh!
Wild games get kids outdoors having fun and hopefully learning a bit about their surroundings/nature&science too. I recently went on a day course and learnt 15 games about birds – some of which I can adapt.
The course gave me a great idea to write a game about making a successful settlement – whether Celts for The Camp or Vikings/Saxons for our business, we shall see.
First off I need to think what style to do it in.
Idea 1 is like a jumbo board game where you gain/lose points depending on for example if your hunters are successful/your crops fail etc.
Idea 2 is a running around maybe getting a token from each zone/bucket and needing one of each to survive eg. a token each for wood, water, shelter, weapons, food, medicine. Could have a “bulldog” style warrior from another tribe trying to catch them and take their tokens. Just an idea.
Good old work in progress :)
