seems like a nice town to me. Would be great to find a job there because rents are so much cheaper.

And why did it take me 4 years to get 10 exits north? anyway, it was a great trip despite broken GPS. Unexpectedly, I got into some super rich place next to Ramsey – haven’t even seem mansions like that, parks, birds, horses. It just felt like I went from Route 66 straight to somewhere next to heavens. wow. anyway, we need to make plans to go on regular trips. Now I need to make sure to ship GPS asap.

Buenos Aires
I have visited the place seeral times, but now they have added a whole new wing to the building, double its previous size! CCR is awesome! Best exhibition: Aldo Sessa, photos. Excelente #1!

I´ve been living in Buenos Aires for almost 6 years. It´s an amazing city, and I absolutely love it, but I spend a lot of time at my flat and I get lazy :P
I WILL visit 15 new places around my area in 2009 :)

As an Auburn alum I have a distain for all things UGA and yet I made the trek over to do something MORE than ride around the loop and go to my favorite little community theatre. My UGA buddy took me around town for the nickel-tour. You know the one I mean . . . Target, Academy Sports, Panera Bread Co, Big Lots, the Good Will Store, Toys R Us . . . the IMPORTANT places in town. I think I’m comfortable enough now that I can ‘go to town’ in Athens rather than driving down to the city. Atlanta and the northern ‘burbs are okay but I think Athens might even be nicer (huh???).

I still consider it a new place because I walked there for the 1st time, which is an accomplishment because 1) I discovered a very convenient store with great assortment; 2) it was very hard because I’m right after foot surgery and can’t walk much or drive (at all). so, all in all, I’m very proud :-) 12 places to go.

What a neat community park, right in the middle of everythign! There is a fountain that comes on about 10:00 and the kids run around and get soaking wet. FUN. There are neat places to shop and eat and enough green space to walk your dog, place frisbee, hang out, catch some rays, relax. I love it! I don’t get to Suwanee nearly as much as I used to but plan to make another Saturday fountain trip before long . . . just for the fun of it!

Hiked up Stone Mountain with my five-year-old son this w/end. What a great experience . . . 2.6 miles roundtrip and from the top . . . incredible views of the city. What an amazing hike we had! Lunch under a shade tree on top of the Rock and then a leisurely hike back down, aided by gravity. I’ve visited the park many times and even hiked up the back of the mountain 20 years ago . . . but this time it was SO much better cause my boy was with me. What a spectacular day we had, made even better by the splendid company of my sweet growing boy and a couple of friends.
