overcome my fear of dogs

I have been so afraid of dogs all my life and I don’t know the reason why. I was eighteen years old and still periodically having nightmares about dogs and avoiding them on the streets. But something happened that changed all that, and I could not have predicted it. A dog of a friend of mine got hit by a car and I was so unsettled by the news that I cried myself to sleep the night I heard. I realized how much I loved that little annoying dog and something just clicked. Ever since then, not only have I lost my fear of dogs but I approach almost every dog I see on the street, no matter shape or size, and even badly want one of my own. There is hope! 4 years ago
